Not enough time!

“Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.”
-H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

How many times have you said I don’t have enough time? Be honest to yourself. How often have you failed to complete a task, meet a deadline, and keep a promise? Simple promises such as to meet a person, or take out your children for a family day out. Although these promises are simple they are of utmost importance.

Think about those times when you failed to meet a deadline or keep a promise due to not having time. Was it really because you had no time? Or was it because you procrastinated, or devoted time and energy to tasks of lesser importance?

This happens to all of us.

There is no reason to feel ashamed or depressed about this. What is important is that you recognise your failures, learn from them and take action to change the situation for the better.

What you need to do is learn time management skills. Simple techniques like recording your tasks on a to-do list. This will help you manage your tasks with less stress, achieve your goals, and live a better more fulfilling life.
