“Life is like a mirror, we get the best results when we smile at it.” Unknown.
How much do we hear the phrase “Think positive”? The problem is that when bad things happen, we tend to forget these rules of thumb resulting in change of temper. When we are facing a serious problem or challenge we tend to give more importance to the dark side and the bad things that can happen. Being such a person will not help you in taking good decisions, since you are always afraid of the negative impact without seeing the whole picture.

I found that working in batch is the best and the most productive. For instance, in order to process my email, I allocate 20 minutes during which I read and reply to all mail. Doing so, I do not incur the overhead of switching from one task to another. Also by limiting myself to a period of time to do a particular task, I found out to be more productive since I compete with myself to reach that small goal.

Stress is the opposite of relaxation. When we are relaxed and calm, our heart rate and breathing slow down, and our brain functions smoothly. When we are stressed our mind and body enter a heightened state of alert to handle the external situation causing the stress.

Sleeping is an essential part of our daily lives. When we sleep our body performs various functions that help us to regain energy and feel reinvigorated. The brain uses the time we sleep to organize the information and experiences we went through during the day.
Sleeping is therefore fundamental for our well being. On average we need to sleep 8 hours daily. This varies slightly from person to person, but anything less than 6 hours is asking for trouble.

Many experts have shown through various studies that including exercise as part of your daily routine is beneficial for your health.
Exercising daily will make you more fit, strong, and happy. It will also boost your immune system to fight off viruses and other undesirables. Even when you get sick your body will be robust enough to get back in shape and heal more quickly. Exercise will make your body more resilient.
Furthermore, you will avoid various diseases in the first place. For example, by performing a daily cardiovascular routine you will strengthen your heart and lungs, thus drastically reducing your risks of heart disease, a major cause of death all over the world.
