Destiny does not exist

“I am writing this blog post because I decided to write it and not because it was my destiny to write it.”

Ever though about what are the implications of believing in destiny? It means that somewhere there is written what is going to happen in your life. That is, no matter how hard you struggle to improve your life, if there is written that you will die poor, you can do nothing about it. How sad!

Do you still believe in destiny? All right here is another implication of destiny. If every human being has a destiny then criminals were born tagged so. They were born hard wired to do crimes and be a burden on society. But such belief hints that we are not free to control our lives. If you believe that people are born hardwired then it means there is nothing like decision taking, since everything that we do and will be doing is planned and pre-written in this book called destiny.

No it can’t be. It is us who decide what our destiny will be. That is, a criminal decides to be a criminal with every crime he does. He has the option not to do it and change his life. A successful business man becomes so with every decision that he takes. I am writing this blog post because I decided to write it and not because it was my destiny to write it.

Stop dreaming and start acting. Your life is in your hand and you can control it. You can choose to waste it or you can choose to do something valuable. Destiny does not exist!

  1. There isn’t a “Destiny” as such, but there is a lot of luck. As well as this knowing people in the right places will get you a lot further than not knowing them.

Putting your self out there and working hard will be a lot better than lounging about and hoping that some thing will come along. Try not to waste time. Although it is always good just to do nothing, one in a while.
