So finally you realized that the money you earn is simply slipping through your fingers like water. Now, you want to cut all those unnecessary expenses and put a curb on withdrawals. It may sound scary but, in fact, it is not. Saving money can be a lot of fun, and the rewards are just as great. Let me show you how you can save some money.
Set Your Goals
Saving some money requires a reason why you have to. It could be a short-term goal like: buying a nice dress, upgrading your furniture, or having that necklace you’ve always wanted. It could also be a long- term one like having your new car, a new house, or paying all your debts. By setting your goals, you have something to look forward to, something you could use to stop yourself from having another bar of chocolate.
It All Adds Up
A movie could cost you $30, a beer could cost you $2, a cup of latte could go around $4, a haircut bills you $20, and a lunch out averages at $15. Watch a movie every week, buy a beer and a cup of latte every day, go to a barber every month, and buy your lunch for a year and see the receipts flowing in and your money flowing out faster than you expected. Eliminate all of these expenses and save at least $9,000 a year.
Don’t Put Yourself in a Situation Where Spending is Inevitable
Many of the things we buy are bought out of impulse, not need. A study, for example, puts impulse factor for buying confectioneries at more than 30%. And there are more statistics. Many of the products today hope that you would run into them, be attracted by the way it looks, and hand your cash or your card to the clerks. Malls and casinos are constructed as a place for consumption. If you want to save money, avoid luring yourself into places and purchases when you don’t need it.
Don’t Lose Your Job/Income Source
Don’t quit your job if you don’t have any alternative. Losing money can be felt the greatest when no funds are coming in.
Live a Simple Life
Who says living frugally is not fun? Most of us who want live the life they can’t afford end up with a lot of debt or a lot of years’ worth of jail sentence. Live within the folds of what you earn. Living frugally doesn’t mean you take the happiness and entertainment out of life. Rather, you just have to look deeper. For example, you don’t need to go to expensive restaurants for a dinner date if you can cook good food and eat at home. You don’t have to go to specialty shops to buy your veggies and fruits. There are Farmer’s Marts nearby where you can buy your fruits cheaper and fresher. Find creative ways to spend less money, and you’ll see the phrase “it all adds up” in a different perspective.

Before you even step onstage, do some mental preparation. Remember that you’re the one talking on that stage. You have the floor and the microphone. Assume the role of the expert, and, thus, assume that your audience cannot refute or challenge what you are saying (and this is most often the case). That should help you talk in a flowing and uninterrupted manner.
Confidence is Key
You can further build up your onstage confidence by practicing speaking in public. How can you do this?
For starters, you can try speaking to a small group of people that you’re comfortable with, such as close friends and family. That should help you develop not only your confidence but a more relaxed and conversational way of presenting as well. From there, work your way up to a small group of strangers, to a larger group of people you’re close to, and so on. You’ll find that, after a while, you’ve worked your way up to a comfortable stance and style of speaking even in front of a packed auditorium of function hall.

Do you feel that you are fulfilling your potential? Are you satisfied with your job and feels like that is what you deserve? Or do you think that you deserve better? What you believe about yourself and your capabilities plays a huge role in your success. If you limit yourself, then you will not try to venture out of the box that you have placed yourself into. If you think that you can accomplish more, then you would be geared towards accomplishing what you believe you can still achieve. Most of the time, people who believe that they have more to offer would end up proving the same thing to the world.
Factors to Consider When Determining Your Potential
You cannot sell yourself short. However, you cannot be too confident. A fish cannot fly, no matter how much it believes it can. It can find ways definitely, and perhaps it can do the impossible and succeed, but it takes time. So, you should be honest with yourself when you are analyzing your potentials. The first factor that you have to consider is your options. What are your options? What is available to you? Can you create these options? The second thing that you have to consider is your strengths and weaknesses. Be honest as much as possible when you analyze your capabilities and limitations. Finally, the last factor that you have to consider is the resources available to you. Do you have the things that you might need in order to pursue your potentials?
Tips on How to Fulfill Your Potential
After you have carefully analyzed the factors that would affect your potentials, you can then proceed to making the necessary changes in your life in order to allow room for growth and maximization of your full potential. Here are some tips on how to fulfill these potentials:
a. Start with wherever you are. Do not waste time lamenting on what you think you need or what should be different. Instead, focus on what you have and grow from there.
b. Focus on your strengths rather than on weaknesses, your success rather than your failure, what you’ve accomplished rather than what you wished you could have done.
c. Always make a conscious and wise choice. Do not shirk from mistakes. Learn from them.
d. Have an open mind. Do not limit yourself to what you believe things should be. Admit to mistakes and open your mind to possibilities.
e. Learn to improvise.

The clincher in any job application, promotion, and other business deals is the all-too-important interview. Some people breeze through it as if it were the easiest thing to do in the world, while others struggle and dread it. To some degree, being able to talk your way in and out of almost anything is an innate talent. However, no case is lost because anyone can develop the gift of gab.
If you come prepared for the interview, there’s no reason to fear it, much less fail it. The key is to come as well-prepared as you possibly can, and this means putting in a little effort to do your research and perhaps even rehearse what you, more or less, are going to say.
Say It with Ease
What you say during an interview can prove to be a deal breaker if you don’t know what you’re talking about and you just rattle on and on senselessly; or you over-compensate your lack of knowledge on the topic by veering away from the subject and passionately talking about something else. Either way, you could lose face and a potential career.
It is best to study all the possible questions that your interviewer could pose during your actual dialogue. If this is for a job interview, your potential answers should cover your previous work history. Remember every detail as possible as you don’t know which area the interviewer will focus on and research on the position you’re applying for. This way, all bases are covered.
Generally, whatever interview you’re going to, your first rule of thumb is to find out as much as you can about the subject of the interview or, if that is quite vague for you, learn a little info about the company and the person/s who will be talking to you.
Avoiding Difficult Qs
Since you don’t have control of the flow of questions, you could find yourself being asked about things that you will not be comfortable talking about. Should this happen, simply give a general answer without being too vague.
You can avoid going into specifics if it will implicate your previous company or anyone else, or if you’d rather keep that part private. Politely decline to answer it directly and say why you’d rather talk about it under different circumstances – without bashing anybody or being negative about it.
During an interview, your attitude will also say it all so make sure that you gracefully answer everything without being a pushover.

Sleep Well
If you want to boost your energy and want to feel alive and vibrant, then don’t be lazy and get that sleeping body to the test.
In order to get more energy for your body, you must do everything the right way. What are the things you can do to boost your energy? Getting enough sleep is important to store more energy to be utilized for the next day. A normal adult should sleep at least six to eight hours a day. Lack of sleep will make you unfocused and irritable.
Eat Well
You should also eat right as it will give you more energy. By eating foods with more calories and more fats, it will weigh you down, and you will feel heavy and tired like you don’t want to get out of your bed. Eat a healthy diet of carbohydrates, proteins, vegetables, and fruits. You should always have a full breakfast to get you started for the day and never eat junk foods. Don’t forget to hydrate yourself. Water will help cleanse your body and get rid of toxins that make your body weak.
Exercise Well
But eating right is not enough to get more energy. You also need to burn those fats by exercising regularly. Exercise will improve your circulation, stretch your muscles, and make you feel like a million bucks.
Relax with Music and Meditation
Music will have a great effect in the physical and psychological aspect of your body. Listening to music will stimulate your senses as well as your brain to function well. You can use music while working to give you more focus. Don’t listen to music that is too loud as it can cause you to lose your concentration.
Don’t forget to fill your spiritual needs. Take time to meditate. You can release all the stresses in your body through meditation.
The ability to give your body more energy will depend on you. You should have the discipline to do all these things in order for you to become stronger and feel better each day. Don’t go to a battle unprepared! Life is full of obstacles, so you should prepare yourself by energizing your body.

We all have our goals in life, both long term and short term. Do you want to buy a house within five years, get promoted within two years, have your first child after three year of marriage, or lose 10 pounds to be able to fit into your old clothes? You will need self discipline to be able to accomplish those. Self discipline refers to a person’s ability for taking action, no matter what emotional state they may be in. With self discipline comes persistence, hard work, and will power.
Not everyone has achieved the same degree of self discipline. But it doesn’t mean that this is possible to only a few. Think of it as building muscles where we develop one set of muscle then another. Body builders did not gain the physique they now sport a few months back. To first timers, they have to start with the basic training like everyone else did. Slowly, they would move to advanced training with heavier weights to develop the muscles to their full potential. The same applies to self discipline. People who have accomplished much in life has learned to curb their sharp tongues, become friendlier, and be better persons as a result of self discipline. More importantly, they have learned to follow through on their plans where others would have given up.
Inspiration from Buddhist Monks
Buddhist monks are one of the few people we know who have mastered self discipline. They win hands down when it comes to this trait when we study how they have practiced self discipline under the most rigid conditions. It’s even tougher than the training military personnel receives. Where other people could hardly stop their tongue from wagging, these monks have learned to commune with silence for hours on end. Imagine how we, too, can learn to practice self discipline at every opportunity possible and see a change in one’s fortune.

Innovation - A Key to Success
Many people would say that change is for something better. Well, change can maximize your potentials in becoming a successful person. But how can you become an innovator when you’re afraid of change?
You must learn to take on new strategies to change your attitude towards innovation. Top innovators are keen observers. They have good listening skills and sharp senses for details and changes. They like to be stimulated with new ideas that they can utilize to formulate new changes for the world.
Becoming an Innovator
If you want to become an innovator, you must take time to observe and see if something needs to be improved. Getting inspiration from the things you see will help you jump start your dream for change. Don’t forget that you are not the wisest man in the world, so listen to others’ comments and observations. Maybe you can gather information from them to help improve your performance as well as develop your personality.
Everyday is an opportunity for change. Don’t be afraid to take the risk because change might make or break you! If you are the type of person who doesn’t want to give up, you will probably become a winner, but if you don’t, then you will just stay at one side of the corner and waste your life with no purpose. It’s never too late to become an innovator, just believe in yourself.

Although children may become a pain in the neck at times, they have fine qualities that can teach us about life and help us understand the meaning of life. Children are innocent beings that unconsciously remind us about the life that was once lost as we grow to maturity. They are really our guardian angels who guide us on the things we should do and know the things we should learn as we go through the journey of life.
Understanding Life in the Eyes of a Child
Every time we see a child smiling, we feel light, and it seems that all our problems just disappeared. Why is that so? Well, children have auras that influence others to feel happy and light. They have e a unique perception of life. They look at each day as a new opportunity to explore/discover new things that they could learn from. Their curiosity and enthusiasm never cease to disappear. So, it is better for us to be like these children who welcome the day with a smile and use their energies to discover new things and appreciate these learning every single day.
As the child is learning the basic things in life, he learns to do these things on his own. He creates new ways in accomplishing things, and he doesn’t mind what others may think about him as long as he is happy in what he’s doing. Learning this attitude from a child will help us venture into new things and discover new opportunities to hone our creativeness and abilities. Don’t be afraid to break the rules once in a while as long as it’s for the good of all.
The Best Tip from Children
Most children, especially toddlers, always like to have what they want. Their favorite word is “mine.” But most parents teach their children that they cannot have everything by saying “no.” The child will just sit in one corner and cry their hearts out, but afterwards, they have forgotten everything about it. Things go back to normal. If we look deeper into the situation and compare it with our wants and needs, we always aim to achieve the things we want. Unfortunately, we cannot have everything. We should just look at the child who doesn’t bother to ask for more if you said no. We should move on and focus on what we have and appreciate the good things that come our way. This is one of the greatest tips that we can get from children.
Believe it or not, children are exemplary teachers of life with messages we should not take for granted.
